These are a few of the Bibles and Books that I recommend for anyone wanting to study and dig deeper. Which one is my favorite (excluding the Bible collections)?
By far it is "Meet The Rabbi's" by Brad Young. I have read this book three times and it is still on my "to read" list. Full of valuable information for understanding 1st century culture. Want to know my second favorite? The Topical Josephus by Cleon Rogers, Jr. It is an easy read, modern English, and teaches you a lot about the 1st century. Much easier read than the other Josephus books that I have listed. The book "Judaism and the Origins of Christianity", by David Flusser, is a good book, very thick book, but a very difficult read. It is for serious students only.
