The Revealing of the Sons and Daughters of God in the Last Days

The Sons and Daughters of God Revealed in Glory
The Sons and Daughters of God Revealed in Glory

As I stop and ponder all of the wonderful scriptures in both the Older and Renewed Covenants I can see this thread of continuity that runs throughout and shows us the pattern for the coming revealing of the children of God.

I have tried to break this down in an orderly format that I hope and pray makes it easier to understand.

1. The Groaning of Creation and the Unveiling (Romans 8:19) (Jeremiah 30:6-7)

“The creation waits eagerly for the sons of God to be revealed.” (CJB)

“Ask now and see: can men give birth to children? Why, then, do I see all the men with their hands on their stomachs like women in labor, with every face turned pale? How dreadful that day will be!—there has never been one like it: a time of trouble for Ya`akov, but out of it he will be saved. (CJB)

• These verses set the tone: the entire cosmos is waiting for a divine unveiling—not just of identity, but of authority.

• The sons and daughters of God will be revealed as those who walk in Spirit-led maturity, bearing the likeness of Messiah and stewarding His kingdom purposes.

2. The Outpouring of the Spirit (Joel 2:28–32 / Acts 2:17)

“Adonai says: ‘In the Last Days, I will pour out from my Spirit upon everyone. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams”. (CJB)

• This prophetic activation marks a shift: revelation comes through spiritual gifts—prophecy, visions, dreams.

• Sons and daughters are not passive—they speak, see, and declare the Word of the Lord with boldness and clarity.

3. The Esther Paradigm: Hidden Ones Brought Forth

The book of Esther offers a prophetic blueprint: Esther was hidden in plain sight, prepared in secret, and revealed “for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14).

• Her unveiling was not just personal—it was national and redemptive.

• In the last days, many sons and daughters will emerge from obscurity, having been refined in silence, now stepping into divine assignments to intercede, protect, and deliver.

4. Marked by Holiness and Overcoming (Revelation 7 & 14)

Revelation speaks of sealed ones—144,000 from the tribes of Israel, and a great multitude from every nation (Revelation 7:4–9).

• These are marked by purity, worship, and endurance. They follow the Lamb wherever He goes (Revelation 14:4).

• Their revelation is not just in word, but in lifestyle—set apart, faithful, and radiant.

5. End-Time Witnesses and Martyrs (Revelation 11 & 12)

The two witnesses (Revelation 11) symbolize prophetic authority and resurrection power. They are representative of Jew and Gentile coming together as one, or the two sticks of Ezekiel coming back together. These are the same as the two olive branches mentioned in Zechariah which are synonymous as Judah and Ephraim. These two witness of Yeshua as: Messiah Son of David (King) and Messiah Son of Joseph/Ephraim (suffering servant). (Ephesians 2:14-16; Ezekiel 37; Zechariah 4:12-14).

• Revelation 12 describes a woman giving birth to a male child who will rule the nations—interpreted by most as Yeshua and as a corporate sonship movement.

• These sons and daughters overcome by “the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony” (Revelation 12:11), even unto death.

6. Global Awakening and Final Harvest

As darkness increases, the light of God’s children will shine brighter (Isaiah 60:1–3), in the light of their Messiah.

• Their revelation will trigger repentance, revival, and a final harvest of souls.

• This unveiling is not just personal—it’s cosmic, communal, and climactic.

I feel that all of this is rapidly approaching and we are in the eleventh hour. Alarms are sounding everywhere and the remnant is being separated. Come out from among them and be separate. Our King is soon to appear and the bride will have made herself ready to be revealed!

Blessings,

Leisa

What if the Second Coming is not imminent but occurs sometime after the year 3000 or perhaps never considering the Second Coming might be a symbolic representation for what each person experiences at death?  Since it has been more than 1,900 years since 2 Peter 3 was written,  I don’t find any comfort in calling doubters “scoffers” or in saying “that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

Yes, we must be prepared at all times. Whether we go by way of death first or if we are alive when He returns, the main thing is to be prepared.
